Engineer Intern KSERC

(2025-present)

During my four month of  internship at Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC), a quasi-judicial body, I gained experience in the regulatory landscape of the power sector. My work focused on data analysis for tariff determination and drafting technical reports that contribute to power sector policy development. By supporting senior officers in regulatory studies and documentation, I developed a deeper understanding of the legal and technical frameworks that govern electricity distribution and consumer interests.

Operator And Shift Assistant KSEB

(2024-2025)

During my tenure at the 110kV Substation in Mala, I was responsible for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of high-voltage infrastructure, ensuring the grid's stability and reliability. My core technical duties included the routine inspection and upkeep of 110kV and 11kV equipment, such as power transformers, circuit breakers, and protection relays. Beyond physical maintenance, I managed the substation's administrative accuracy by meticulously preparing daily energy transaction data and load reports. Safety was a primary focus of my role; I served as a critical point of control by issuing official Permits to Work (PTW) for EHT feeders, ensuring all isolation protocols were strictly followed before authorizing personnel to perform maintenance on energized or de-energized high-tension lines.
